How did this happen? One day I'm in my thirties and forties and all of a sudden I wake up today and I'm the big 5-0!!
I am really sort of having a hard time with this, and I don't usually dread birthdays. I always feel proud of my age because truthfully people usually can't believe how old I am. I even had an acquaintance ask me last week if I was going to have any more kids!! (If only you knew)!
But 50?? I so don't feel it. I know I know, 50 is the new 30. RIGHT!!
My dd said Mom, how do you feel about turning 50?
I said, Well, considering the alternative, it's not bad!!
How true. Life is a gift. If you have your health, you are lucky and blessed.
