I can do it! I can do it! I can do it! I can do it! I can do it!
I'm trying to get motivated back into exercise again. When my life gets so hectic, exercise is the first thing I let go because I simply have no time/energy. I know that is the exactly wrong thing to do because exercise gives you energy in the first place. To make matters worse, after the intense stress is over, I hit a emotional low because I'm so depleted. What a conundrum!
How do you all keep yourselves motivated and/or schedule exercise during real stressful times/long hours? Is there a certain routine you keep no matter what? Are group classes better motivators..ti chi, tai kwando, lazy lady get off your butt type classes? The exercises routines I love are The Firm, Fluidity Bar, and Walking the Dogs. Walking the dogs is the only one I'm doing since, well obviously, they have to go.
BTW, winter blues hit, so I purchased ApolloHealth goLite P2 light therapy box at Costco (currently $32 instant Mfg rebate in store). I'm hoping that will help with my energy levels and sleep patterns since the research seems pretty strong in favor of the therapy.
Thanks guys!
