Sade - I'm waiting for Dr. B. to get into the make-up line more.  What type of blush do you use with the Elizabeth Arden foundation.  I tried the Revlon Mousse but it was too thick.

It seems as though most of you that use the BM don't have dry skin.  I'm waiting to see what fidget thinks of it.

We all seem to be past our 30's.  My teen has been asking me about the book, do think its too early to start this for her?

Looking forward to your replies.  Thanks for all your advice!

I am 52 and I use BE makeup (but not the foundation). I use the blushes, eyeshadows, liners, and lipsticks. I'm a DSPW and the BE foundation and MV powder is way too drying for me.

I don't have any children, but if I had a teen, I would definitely get them started on this program. I wish I had known about all of this (and sun damage) when I was a teen! I've managed to get 3 of my coworkers to get Dr. Baumann's book and get on board!

I agree, Aspenstar -- I'd definitely get a teen started on this program, too. I don't think it could possibly be too early to get started it.

Hi Karen! I have to echo Aspenstar about the BE foundation. I used it for a few months but I found it drying when Winter hit. It also made my face look almost leathery unless I gopped a ton of primer on first. But I still use a few of the products like Bisque or Warmth to conceal or accent over my foundation. Now, my daughter is 24, oily and doesn't like the look of heavy makeup. I bought her a kit for Christmas and she says she'll never stray. It really agrees with her acne-proned skin.

Oh, absolutely get your daughter started if she is interested! I'm sure there is a skin type in there that fits her to a tee. Plus, it could save you a future trip to a dermatologist.

I suffered terribly with acne from the time I was eleven to my teens. My
parents took me to good derms, but I'm 62 and till tetracycline was used
the treatment was archaic. I remember not looking in mirrors and sobbing
as we left the derm. My mother would have killed for this book. I started
using BE when I was 55 and it was amazing for me. In the winter I switch
to Covergirl Aquasmooth cream to powder for more moisture. BE should be
great for teens.
