I was reading in your book under the oily, sensitive section and came across a little paragraph about dairy stimultaing insulin release, and high insulin contributing to acne. I have PCOS and am trying to lose weight, I am wondering if my lowfat milk and yogurt are sabotaging my weight loss efforts?

Also, how exactly does high insulin cause acne? I have talked with many other women with PCOS and our Dr's all tell us that the acne problems are hormonally related to the PCOS, but never exactly how...
