Hi... I'm wondering if there is a technical term to describe this. Before starting on a regimen for my skin type I routinely had clogged pores that would not become whiteheads or blackheads. My skin would feel a bit rough and if I scraped gently with my finger nails tiny white bits (sort of like tiny grains of white sand) would come off my skin and it would feel smoother but there would be enlarged pores where the bits of "sand" came out. (I presume dried up oil?)

Does anyone know if there's a term for this? This used to be one of my primary skin problems.

Thanks in advance...
