Hi all! I'm a slightly dry DSPW who has occasional breakouts during periods of high humidity. I purchased the DDF sulfur mask recommended in the book but found it hard to remove using the spray facial water. My sensitive skin has really improved since I stopped using tap water on it but I'm wondering if it's necessary to use the tap water to remove the mask.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else used the facial water to remove the dried mask? How did you do it? Thanks!

I tried a sample of both the DDF and the Peter Thomas Roth. I liked the PTR better.  They both have the same consistency. What I do is apply the mask by dabbing just on the spot and night before bed. The next day a damp washcloth is all I need to remove the mask.
BTW I dont use the facial water other than just before applying moisturizer. I use tap for all other needs. I am a DSNW

Hi, I have the DDF mask and it IS hard to remove with just a spray of water.  I usually use it right before I shower and rinse it off that way.  Possibly if you try a thinner layer of mask and not let it dry too long, you could get it off with a spritz.  I"m DSPW and not using tap water has helped me too, but I can't avoid it in the shower (and can't stand to wash my hair in the sink!) so if I need to use it, I just try to spray thermal water to rinse ASAP.  You could also put some (cheap, bottled) spring water in your sink, and rinse off the mask with that and a cloth.

Thanks, makupfool and patrish, for your great suggestions! I'm going to try some of your ideas until I find something that works.
