Woohoo! ;D Finally, someone has done something right!

Great news! When I first read the article from Airesgrl's link, I noticed it said the product approved had an SPF of 15 and wondered if the FDA would only let the SPF 15 product be sold (I don't really know how these things work with FDA approval) rather than higher SPF products, as well. But I found another article (here: biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060724/clm516.html?.v=38) that says, "The first L'Oreal product containing Mexoryl(TM) SX to be released in the U.S. market will be ANTHELIOS SX, a daily moisturizing cream with sunscreen that will be sold by the L'Oreal brand La Roche-Posay. The product will be sold from this Fall and will be available in select pharmacies and drugstores as well as doctors' offices. L'Oreal also intends to launch daily moisturizing products containing Mexoryl(TM) SX in some of its other brands in the future, and to introduce more sunscreen formulations containing Mexoryl(TM) SX." So it sounds like there are more products in the works! ;D

Thanks ariesgrl for letting us know about this one. It's about time they caught up. How long have we been getting the speeches about protecting our skin from the sun because of skin cancer. Well done FDA!! I'm glad there's more on the way. Let's hope they keep it up.

I do hope we'll see it in the Active C line here in the US - when I was in Germany earlier this year, I purchased Active C XL - containing Mexoryl.  I think I saw the XL notation in their Hydraphase line, as well.
