I have been using Obagi skincare for about 2 yrs. Several months ago I noticed a red spot on my cheek, and then last November, I broke out in red pustules from the nasolabial fold all the way to the bottom of my face, and on my chin on the opposite side. With my chin appearing red generally with some noticeable capillaries.
Then I committed the ultimate skin sin of applying a very strong corticosteroid to those areas. I cleared it up in one day, but needless to say, it came back about a week later. I have been applying the cortisone for about 6 week when it flares.
I went to the Dr today (not a dermatologist thanks to military healthcare), and she gave me Erythromycin and Metrogel.

I am wondering if the Obagi caused this. I realize strong hydrocortisones will cause it, but I had not used those for the eczema on my hand in over a year. However, in November (about the same time this started), I applied some to my husbands skin and could have touched my face with it.
What do you think?
