Hi, I have been on Differin (Adapalene - a form of retinoid) for a couple of years. Since March, I was mixing the Differin with Olay Total Effects Mature Skin therapy (to soften the Differin as I have sensitive skin. I was doing this x 3 times a week). I got really good results and my pigmentation cleared up quite a lot. When I saw my dermatologist, he couldn't believe how great my skin looked (I didn't tell him I was using Olay).

Here is my concern, Olay Total Effects has magnesium ascorbyl phosphate - is this stopping the Differin from working? I understand that one should not mix Vit C with retinoid. Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is a type of Vit C - does it have the same effects??
