TOPIC: Going to dermatologist

Going to dermatologist 1 year, 11 months ago #5095

I rarely post but I've been reading the forums for a few years. I'm sure you can answer my question.

I decided to go to a dermatologist for the facial redness, burning and stinging that I've had for a few weeks. It started after I used LRP Toleriane Cleansing Bar on my face. Why I used that I'll never know. I usually use LRP Dermo Cleanse or Clinique Extra Mild Cleanser.

I've tried Aveeno Ultra-Calming, Paula's Choice Skin Relief Treatment, LRP Roasaliac Anti-Redness Moisturizer, Clinique Redness whatever it's called, and something from Eucerin. Olay Total Effects used to be my go to product because even though it might not help, it didn't sting. Now it does. Everything stings or burns and the redness isn't going away. Does anyone have an idea of something I haven't tried?

Obviously I won't wear make-up to the doctor's office. My brushes feel like needles at the moment anyway. Ouch! Should I take a list of everything I've tried to fix the problem? A list of everything I normally use? Anything else? I haven't been to a derm doc before as you can probably tell.
Thanks!

Linda
