Hi,

I'm 23 years old, from Australia. I've had mild acne since I was a teenager and it has never really gone away. I feel that one of the reasons it has stayed is because the skin on my face regularly gets itchy spots, which I scratch. I think this in turn aggravates the acne that's there, and it continues spreading.

My dad said that because my room walls are covered in posters (i have a fairly large room) the accumulation of the toxic ink that's omitted from them, could be contributing to my allergy/acne.

Now I'm very skeptical of this, however there's a part of me that thinks he may be right. I've spoken to a couple of friends, and they say the ink from the posters is harmless. However he said that he's visited printing presses before and knows the kind of chemicals that are used for posters etc and that it's very harmful and toxic, especially to be surround by them during sleep etc.

What do you guys think? Have you ever heard of ink from posters causing allergies? I want to get a second opinion before I tear them all down, pick off all the tape and pack them away.
