?: I am just finishing a 6-month course of Accutane (my third in 16 years! -- I am now 52!), for the treatment of malignant cysts. [The Accutane pushed the cysts to the surface so they could be excised with as little trauma to my face as possible -- out of 24 cysts removed, 8 were benign]. This is my last week on Accutane, and I began photodynamic therapy (PDT) 2 weeks ago.
Of course, my skin is hideously dry, and super-sensitive now; but as the Accutane leaves my body, I expect it to return to something not unlike normal (whatever that is) in the month's to come.
How to treat my skin? Re-do my Baumann test every month??
I hate continuing on one course until I have problems, I'd like to prevent problems. With hot humid summer looming on the horizon, I don't want to be lube-ing up my skin any more than I have to.
Advice, anyone????
