I recently read Dr. B's book and have started the skin care regimen.

I tested as DRNW. I am using retinol in the pm and skinceuticals C E Ferulic in the am. My pm regimen is working out fine and makes my skin soft smooth and I can see fine lines fading.

However in the am I am using first cleanser then after drying I apply 4-5 drops of skinceuticals ferulic. Then I put my sunscreen and after that my water based foundation. I have been following the morning regimen since past two weeks. I am seeing increased number of blackheads on my nose since the use of c e ferulic.

Also the color of ce ferulic I am using is very very light amber color. As far as my knowledge based on forums, this color should be ok. I read somewhere that ce ferulic gets oxidized as soon as it comes in contact with water. is it true? I am concerned since am using a water based foundation (maybelline) on top of it.

I am not sure if ce ferulic is working out for my skin, or if its oxidized or if the products I am using on top of it should not be used. I am thinking of may be switcihing to some other C product, with less risk of oxidation.

I have heard lot about ce ferulic benefits from Dr. B and other forums, so I don't want to give it up, so any suggestions to make it work or any other C product are welcome.
