In the OSNT chapter, Dr. B recommends avoiding allantoin, but it doesn't say why. I have looked it up on three web sites, Paula's site plus two other web sites which rank comedogenic and irritating ingredients, and all three say it's ok. Since I am trying to figure out what I can use and why the Paula's 1% BHA lotion bothers me now, which has allantoin high on the ingredient list, does anyone know why Dr. B recommends against it? Or have any other comments on it? Thanks in advance!
