I know that I read somewhere on this forum about Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Sunblock Lotion SPF 30. This sunscreen is pure Titanium Dioxide 9.1% and is fragrance free, PABA free and is supposed to go on weightless and the whitish cast is supposed to disappear after application.

I am curious about this sunscreen because I have extremely sensitive, redness prone skin and am always on the lookout for options for incidental, daily sun exposure rather than the extreme alternatives for those who spend more time in the sun. Other than the Josie Maran Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 which contains a chemical sunscreen (I seem to tolerate this, curiously enough), my other excursions into the sunscreen search have irritated and caused my skin to breakout. I have come to the conclusion that I have a sensitivity to chemical sunscreens and perhaps the parabens as well when the two are present in a formulation. Never mind that I can't use fragranced products either. I intentionally avoid fragrance at all costs for my facial products as these produce redness immediately upon contact.

Anybody try this Neutrogena product? ???

I'm hoping to be able to use this or something else under my foundation or mineral makeup powder without greasiness or blotchiness of makeup application. I've had this happen frequently with the Good Skin All Calm Gentle Sunscreen SPF 25 which my skin tolerates but often leaves a slight whitish cast on my face. Once I apply my mineral powder, the whitish cast disappears but my makeup looks cakey and more pores are more obvious. Ugh!

Any insight would be appreciated!
