Has anybody tried this? I really like it! I was out in the sun all weekend at the Indy 500 and didn't get any sunburn or pigmentation. What I did was to first apply my LRP Active C serum followed by this new spf 60. After about 5 minutes, I applied NIA 24 (physical) sunscreen on top.
During the day, I wore a hat and touched up my face with a little Neutrogena Dry-touch 55 from a 1 oz tube in my purse.
I did end up with a few mildly block pores on my forehead, but no breakouts. I consider this a huge success. I'm particularly surprised because I broke out (in pimples on my cheek -- twice) from the original LRP Anthelios-SX spf 15. I'm thinking that it must've been something in the carrier, rather than the active sunscreen ingredient.
{{Shrug}} I'm just happy to have a good sunscreen that I can easily by locally at CVS. I even got $10 in CVS "Extra bucks" to spend on the spot.
I went to the "high end" CVS that offers a bunch of LRP products and has a consultant in the cosmetics department. She was really helpful, explaining the differences between all the new LRP sunscreens. She told me that the spf 60 "Melt-in" was the one that had a matt finish on your face. She warned me away from one of the spf 40's -- told me all the associates agree it's too greasy feeling.
Hope this works for the rest of you.
Let me know what you think, if you try this.
