I'm having one of the worse breakouts I've had in my life! I've counted 24 spots of varying sizes and 4 rather painful cystic bumps, one of which is nearly a centimeter across

I went to the doctor this morning for something else and the first thing he said to me when I walked in was "we need to find something to clear up your skin". So, he's given me Clindamycin Lotion (a topical antibiotic) and told me to apply that twice daily, and continue to use the BP gel at night as well. He said it could be combined into one if I used Duac but Duac has 4% BP and he thinks that might be too much for my sensitive skin (I currently use 2.5%).

Just when I think I've got it all cleared up and am doing well... whammy!

I also had a basal cell carcinoma removed from my cheek today using curettage and electrodesiccation (basically, scraped off the tumor and used an electrocautery needle to finish it off). It's a little sore but looks like there'll be little (if any) scarring which I'm pleased about!

So, Josh needs hugs, Kahlua and lots of nice dark chocolate (not necessarily in that order!)
Josh / 41 / male / DSPW-OSPW / Acne and clog prone / sensitive. Switching up my routine as I'm living in a new country (Malta) and the change in climate, water and diet is causing my skin to play up.

Using: La Roche-Posay Lipikar Syndet (AM/PM), distilled witch hazel (AM/PM), Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 (AM), Retin-A Gel 0.01% (PM).
