Are you supposed to dab on undereye medication or sort of rub it in a little bit? From my understanding, I assumed you were supposed to just gently dab the medication under and around the eye area and never rub in? For some reason I don't think this is working for me since in the morning when I wake up ointment looks as its never really been absorbed into the skin and sort of just sits under my eye. Would I get better results if I rubbed the medication in a little bit or is this method frowned upon?

The undereye treatment I've been using is relastin eye silk and relastin ultra emollient which I have been using strictly at nighttime.
