Hi All,

Does anyone know which type of makeup brushes (natural hair or synthetic) are best for sensitive skin? Also, how long are brushes supposed to last providing you take care of them and wash them regularly?

I think I have finally narrowed down my skin itch problem to my makeup brushes. I feel they are scratching my skin ever so slightly and creating that post itch feeling I get when my skin gets warm. I now notice that my skin feels "poked" when I apply my makeup no matter how gentle I am in the application process. I have been using BE mineral brushes for about 7 or 8 years now, and I think they are made with natural hair.

I started using a makeup sponge yesterday for my mineral foundation application which I think helped. However, I still used brushes for my eye makeup and blush. I hate using sponge tip applicators for eye shadow because I prefer the control and blending ability of brushes.

Any suggestions?
