About twenty odd years ago I used a translucent face powder which contained real silk according to the list of ingredients. I think the powder was made by Helena Rubinstein (whatever happened to that company?). It was divine to wear, both comfortable and comforting to my skin. The texture was like soft satiny dissolving strands. It bestowed a glow that made your face look as if it was lit from within - but of course that may be just called 'youth'. In any case, I've never found anything to match it but I am still looking for something like it. Perhaps I'm just hankering after my youth. If so, oh how tragic am I...).

Does anybody know of any worthwhile face powders that contain silk?
