Right now I'm just using a skin lightener product twice a day. But I'd like to add an antioxidant and start off slowly with a retinol product. I know I would put on the retinol at night, but would it react with my lightener? And would the lightener and antioxidant react if I use them both in the am? I'm a little confused because Dr. B has in the book to either use a lightener or an antioxidant if you're a DSPW.
Also, does anyone know if I can put my nonprescription skin lightener under my eyes? I have spots there too, but I didn't know if it would be too irritating.
Thanks for the help!

Hi culiq.

I'm using the Dr. Jeffrey Dover Skin Effects Brightening something-or-other in the mornings, and it says it can be used around the eyes, just not to get it too close to the lash-line. I guess it would depend on what you are using, but I would think you probably could and you could start out just using a little bit to make sure you don't react. I use tri-luma at night and I do put it under my eyes, after I put on my eye cream (also the Dover product).

I don't think you'd have a problem with using the other products together.

Hope this helps!
