The saga of my prescription. Maybe it will encourage others to fight those nasty insurance companies. I have been using 7 small tubes of Renova Samples since July 10. A girl at CVS told me that my insurance does not cover Renova, so i shopped the prescription to other pharmacies including Walmart and Target. Same price. Called my insurance and they told me they would not cover Renova or Retin-A. Then called the nurse at my dermatologist and she has been dealing with my insurance company for three weeks. Yesterday she called me. I was approved for Tretinoin .05 cream. Start using that tonight. I know its stronger than the Renova, but we fought the good fight and I paid a $10. co-payment. Hooray!
