I got to thinking about this when I realized I was stressing over using a "state-of'the art"moisturizer providing plenty of anti-oxidants when I already layer a serum (Olays regenerist) meeting that exact criteria.
My question would be, is there any real benefit to layered products that duplicate benefits? I know sunscreens layered do not add up to a higher spf # so how about anti-oxidants or other skin actives? Am I really any better off adding an anti-oxidant rich moisturizer over my Olay serum or am I safe (and possibly even better off) to just layer a nice basic moisturizer like Cliniques DDML or gel over it?
