I wish I could tell you the name of the laser but I can't. I was talking to the dr that does my laser hair removal and he does a wrinkle treatment with a laser. I asked him if it would work for brown spots and he said no, that it was mainly for wrinkles and prevention. I know it is not Fraxal or IPL. He is sooo not pushy and was just answering any questions I had but he said what he normally recommends is 3 treatments a yr in your 30's, 4 treatments a yr in your 40's, etc. He said if you start early, you normally don't need the extra as you get older. He said that this plumps up the skin and helps to build collegen which in turns "should" improve the overall appearance of your face. He also has said that he has seen people who started early and 10 yrs later or several yrs later, their skin looked great. I am 32 and have no wrinkles but am certainly all about prevention. I have unfortuantely not been too successful in tolerating Renova.

Anyone familiar with this and have opinions? It is $150 per session and I figure $450 a year (or $300 if I only did 2 a yr) could potentially cancel out alot of expensive skin care products.
