I can't readily find the answer to this question, but I know many of you have become sunscreen experts...

The instructions for most sunscreen tell users to reapply every 2 hours when in the sun. Does that go for facial sunscreen, too? I've never seen a sunscreen designed for the face that comes with those instructions.

It's unclear to me whether the sunscreen manufacturers expect that you'll rub most of the sunscreen off your body within 2 hours of application, or whether the sunscreen actually loses its effectiveness after 2 hours.

Anyone know?
