Hey guys, Kaiser doesn't cover benzaclin anymore so they're asking $183 dollars for a few months' supply. It really seemed to work well on my acne, but that's way too expensive for me. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could use instead? My derm prescribed me erythromycin 2% solution instead, but it's in an alcohol base and stings. Benzaclin is 5% benzoyl peroxide mixed with 1% clindamycin, so I was thinking of trying just a benzoyl peroxide product. Can anybody recommend good ones? And I was thinking of using bp and the topical erythromycin, but they actually sell that combined already as "benzomycin" so maybe it's not as good to use the products separately? In any case, using nothing I get a bunch of clogged, inflamed pores that turn into little zits. Help please!
