Awhile back, I had read that when a product does not have an expiration date on it, but has a "code" stamped into the container - that you can still figure out when it was made....(this person stated that they worked in the cosmetic industry) The position of the numbers (ex: 3rd #, 4th #, or 5th #) were supposed to indicate the month and year that the product was made.
Does anyone know anything about how this works?
