Last week I had an episode of red dry flaky skin on my eyelids, eyebrows and around the (outside) corners. I posted a thread in the "eyes" forum and faux kindly responded that it sounded like sebhorric dermatitis. I decided to make an appointment to see my gp about (and possibly get a referral to a dermatologist).
The thing is the redness and flakiness has gone apart from under the eyebrows.
My appointment is for next Mon (12th May). My question is do I keep the appointment or wait for it to flare again? If I do keep the appointment do I then just ask for a referral or see what she says?
I know this sounds daft but I rarely go to the dr as we have a bit of a role reversal in our house where I soldier on and hubby goes to the dr when necessary.
