My main complain about my skin was caused in my opinion by vit C. I didn't use sunblock in those days and the sun where I live is extremely strong all year long. Until now,I still think that it caused a dark spot I had.
I've been reading and it seems that the vit c besides being antioxidant, a benefit that you can also get from a regular suplement; it helps to promote the formation of new blood vessels in the skin that at the end promote collagen formation .They also claim that it helps with dark spots.
I went back and got another Continuous-c Perfecting Complex from Lancôme. I’ve been using it for two weeks now and haven't had any reaction and no hyper pigmentation seems to be appearing so far.
The product is not oily and smells a little bit like medicine. It’s not like other serums that only a little bit go a long way; I have to use more of this.
I wonder how stable is this and others vit c formulations because I’ve read that is very unstable and if it oxidizes in the bottle you lost your money.
Any experiences with vit c?? Does it really helps?
