yes oh yes oh yes.
saw my new dermatologist today and really liked her. seemed far more sensitive than the last dork i saw who didn't seem to understand dry, sensitive skin AND rosacea.
this woman could see that i had managed it very well with skin care and didn't need the antibiotics (not that i was taking them). also said i SHOULD discontinue the finacea because it hurt like a (insert expletive of choice here). she gave me new meds for the finacea as well as samples of differin. i feel like i was heard and that the treatment i received was appropriate.
got a mole check, all looks normal.
then we discussed the fun stuff -- how to look closer to my husband's age!!! (he's ten years younger). she just happened to have some botox nearby and i couldn't say no to unfurling my brow. she said it would probably help with my tension headaches as well. not much she could do for the few creases in my forehead because they are caused by 'heavy lidded' eyes that i need to raise my brows to see better...but i guess that's a hazard of the proverbial 'bedroom eyes' i really like them with heavy liner and false eyelashes. what a tramp!
now i'm thinking of all the other fun injectibles (that you don't buy on the street, that is).
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh boooootox
