I will be going on vacation the week of the 4th to Turks and Caicos. My husband and I love the Caribbean but with all the confusion on sunscreens and the products I am using, I am stressing over the one week there causing more damage. We will certainly be out on the beach and in the water - no vacation sitting in the room!

I would like to try the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic now and am using Renova also with an otc hydroquoine product. Do you think if I slather on the sunscreen (like Neutrogena 50 with helioplex) I would set myself up for taking a backset? I don't want to be using these products and cause more damage by there being a reaction with the sun.

Also my dad has a pool and we love to go there are relax and I do cover myself in sunscreen. Sometimes I get the impression that those who are treating with the products give up all there outside activities. Am I wrong to still want to enjoy the outside???
