I started differin this week for my acne problems. The thing is I tend to have more dry skin and only a slightly oily T-zone. I was told to use a pea-sized amount every other night. I'm trying to keep it away rom my eyes but nonetheless I end up with red, irritated swollen eyes. It is working on my chin area and after two applications, my forehead cleared very well.

My questions are this-

When do you apply differin in your routine?

Do you mix with a serum to lessen irritation?

How long did you have to use it before seeing the irritation/Redness disapear?

Does Differin have any anti-aging/Anti-wrinkle effects?

How much has Differin helped with adult acne?



I'm trying to figure out where I should put this in my routine. My derm wanted me to use a 2% BP wash, but my skin can't handle it (Makes me irritated and wrinkly), so I'm just using Olive Oil for now. I'm also on Clinagel which is surprising not irritating me too much. Clindagel during the day and on nights I'm not using Differin, Still want to use a serum, but have not figured out where to put it.

I'm using the 0.3% Gel.
