BHA and B. Peroxide don't do much for me for spot treatment. I find that my pimples last just as long and look just as bad whether I use either or not.

I've found Astara Blue Flame Purification Mask makes for a good overnight spot-treater. I've posted about it on here before, but now that I've used it for a couple weeks with success I guess it was time for a thread. I'm not entirely sold on it as a mask - one time using it all the pores on my forehead were emptied, but it does nothing for the blackheads on my nose, nothing for oil production and most times does little for my forehead. One time it caused my right cheeck to become irritated and red.

As a spot treater (which it is advertised as along as a mask), it's a lot more effective. The product is blue like indicated in the name, so it can only be used overnight - unlike other spot treaters that are clear or vanish when applied, this stays a light blue color and dries on top of the pimple.

I've found that it either prevents incoming blemishes from forming, or causes them to come fully to a head, overnight. Most of the time they're less red in appearance and generally look better. It doesn't work this way 100% of the time - and they don't disappear completely (although some do) - but it works well enough that I think it's worth a look!

(One of their samples alone is weeks worth of spot treatment)
