Let's establish some ground rules on what we expect from fellow posters and our hopes for this forum.
Feel free to add on and agree or disagree with what I've posted but please don't point out who you think it applies to. Been there, done that, and over it 8)

1)
Respect fellow posters:
Everyone is a person of value deserving of respect, but no one is perfect. Each of us have idiosyncracies that may rub others the wrong way or different view points you may heartily disagree with. Make allowances for the person that is irritating you as they are also making allowances for you. If you disagree with an opinion, respectfully disagree. If you can't respectfully disagree, do NOT post.
2)
Do not demand attention to your post:
If a post goes unanswered for a day, consider it due to many people having families, careers, etc. Bumping up your post the same day is similar to cutting in line and makes it appear you feel your more important than the other posters. If no one answers beyond a day, bump up the post as it may have gotten lost in the shuffle.
3)
Take ownership of your skincare:
The forum is here to help by making suggestions and giving opinions on products, procedures, even sympathizing with you when things go totally wrong. Give us a problem and we'll try to help you. You'll find we post several articles that supplement Dr. B's book that enhance your skincare knowledge and make you a better consumer. Take that knowledge and do you own research, but please don't demand the forum put your entire routine together and/or do all research steps for you.
4)
Advertisers/Salespersons:
We are end users discussing our RESULTS/EXPERIENCES with products/procedures. We know every salesperson has a product that is suppose to fullfill our desires; however, this forum is only for end users and doctors helping end users.
5)
Non-Skincare Topics:
Please start non-skincare related topics in the Miscellaneous section of the forum. This is a new section that allows us to chat-it-up. However, this forum recognizes and takes seriously the fact you are a husband, wife, daughter, son, cousin, aunt, uncle, animal lover, couch potato, exercise hater, exercise lover, chocoholic, diabetic, cancer survivor, care giver, outdoor lover, work-a-holic, etc. We have free flowing, witty and serious conversations within various sections that may dart off in any direction occasionally following the Wizard of Oz trail and ending at a face peel. We welcome you to join in
6)
No Harassing:
While contacting other members by email or private message is fine, do not contact other members if they ask you not to.

This isn't a requirement to participate in the forum, but it effects how the we are able to answer your skin questions and recommend products for your skintype. For instance, being oily may be due to a dry person using too harsh of products or an oily person using products that are too moisturizing. Along with explaining how skin functions, the book also gives you suggested routines and product recommendations based upon Dr. B's years of research. Where can you find the book? Amazon.com, various bookstores, even your libarary. The book is also distributed in the following countries: USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, and South Africa.
