I just bought the new Aveeno Positively ageless lifting and firming eye cream, I really like eye products that come in pumps instead of jars. I like the consistency and it seems to be working well enough but I detected a light but noticeable fragrance in it. After checking the ingredients, it does indeed contain fragrance! Why any manufacturer would think someone would want or need fragrance in their eye-cream I have no idea, but what do you all think?
So far, it doesn't appear to be having any negative effect but I can smell it even after I have it on a while and I possibly see some slight redness - but I'm not sure if it's from the eye cream or normal or I'm just being paranoid about this.
Would you return it? I have other ones I like just as well but I did like it. It's a little more moisturizing than my Olay Regenerist one.
