I had a couple of small facial growths removed about four weeks ago. (Benign, thank goodness.) Doctor removed by scraping off with a scalpel rather than cutting/stitching. She warned that it would scar but with my family history I really just wanted them off my face. One was on the inside corner of my eyebrow and has almost disappeared. The one on my cheekbone is a flat reddish mark and isn't progressing as well as the other one (but at least it's flat, so it looks better than the growth, which was raised).

I've been using Mederma and scar sheets. Anyone else have any tips for fairly fresh scars? (I saw Dr. Baumann's post about lasers.) My derm said to use petroleum jelly for a week.
