Is anyone here overly concerned about jars and how the anti-oxidants and such seem to lose their potency after opening?
I too recently purchased Paula's 7th edition of DGTTCCWM (whew!) and she has really cracked down hard on anything packaged in either clear or jar packaging.
She claims it doesn't matter how well formulated the product is, if it's in packaging that allows the ingredients to be compromised by light or air, they are rendered ineffective very shortly.
I am now questioning buying anything in a jar. Granted, I don't use much that is packaged that way, but I do have Aveeno Ultra-calming night cream and Cliniques Superdefense. Also, all of my eye creams are in jars and I am thinking of getting one in a pump. Any suggestions or thoughts?
