I'm new here and I have a question about sunscreen. I am curious of Dr. Baumann's view on the debate of stability. I am at a loss. I have been happily using Estee Lauder's Daywear Plus SPF 15 for Oily Skin for about a year and have been very happy. It is also a Paula Pick. But of course, now there seem to be a problem with it. I have been reading on other boards lately that Avobenzone doesn't remain stable when combined with Octinoxate and it only remains stable with Octocrylene. Is this true? I called Paula Begoun's customer service and they said that it wasn't true. Now she uses Octinoxate, so I am still not sure. Does anyone know Dr. Baumann's view on this. I would trust a third party view. Or any other views for that matter. I hate to think I am damaging my skin right now. Help!!! Thanks Leigh Anne.
