After trying samples of both, I have found that I can tolerate either one. So, which would be better in terms of anti-aging and improved skin texture? The Avene actually seems to produce more visible results quicker, but is the Differin better because it's rx strength? I know they are different, but is there a reason to pick one over the other? The cost of Differin (with my insurance if I get a prescription from my doc) is actually less than the Avene, but cost aside? I don't really have any issues with acne (knock-on-wood!) - but I do have ultra sensitive skin, so I have to be very careful. I've read that retinaldehyde is helpful for rosacea, but I've read that about Differin too. Even though I'm on the fence as to whether or not I have rosacea, I do have the ultra-sensitivity.
Any thoughts?
