Ugh, so I just got back from my derm appointment. I waited since October to see her. Last time I was there I saw the NP because she was available sooner. But I didn't care for her much, because she didn't talk to me about anything. So I decided this time to wait for the doctor, but I don't like her either.

first, I always think its a bad sign when your dermatologist doesn't have good skin herself, and uses hideous neon green eye liner, and bright pink lipstick. she was a little scary.

so I made a list of topics, and she just talked and talked and talked about nothing of relevance to me. she never even asked me what I'm doing, what products I use. I think if I was a dermatologist, that would be like my first question. She's never heard of Nia24, and she doesn't like niacin for the skin. hmmm. I did finally get to go through my list with her, but her answers were not up to par for me. very disappointed with her.

So, she tried to sell me Teamide ($70), or Revia CR ($52) for redness, but they didn't have samples, and I can't afford to purchase something that expensive if I'm not going to be able to even use it.

Has anyone tried these?

Thanks to whoever reads this. I appreciate it. Just so frustrated!

Anyone know a good derm in the Washington, DC metro area? Someone willing to help me analyze my regimen?
