What does everyone think of using recommended products from different skin types? I'm a OSPW but O cleansers usually dry me out so I was thinking about getting a cleanser from DSPW. The same with a SPF moisturizer.

I also noticed how different the recommended products are for skin types that are close to each other like OSPW/OSPT and OSPW/DSPW.

What cleansers have you tried? are you using a Rx regimen or non-Rx one? I can't imagine an SPF moisturizer that is drying!! if you found one, please let me know,as most, but the Olay one I use, make me a grease-pit..

I'm on a non-RX regime and currently using Alpha Hydrox's Foaming Face Wash and alternate that with the Head to Toe knock-off. I've been using both for a few years now and it cleans really well. My only issue is my cheeks can get a bit flaky and dry afterwards and I'm very oily. The dryness doesn't last long though and I don't need to use a moisturizer. I think it might be the foam that's drying me out which is why I was looking into a DSPW cleanser.

I should clarify that SPF moisturizers don't dry me out (I'm a grease pit by the end of the day) but was wondering about using a recommended SPF moisturizer from the DSPW category since the recs vary from OSPW and DSPW.

before you go searching for a cleanser from the DSPW group, why not try a cleanser from the OSPW group? ..I would stay away from cleansers that contain SLS or that foam a lot..2 that I have tried and like are Neutrogena Acne Wash&Cetaphil(they are both on the OSPW list)

Neutrogena Acne Wash was a disaster for me but I had no problems with Cetaphil. I want to try a lotion or gel cleanser. I noticed Eucerin Hydrating Cleanser is on the website for OSPWs so I'm going to give that a try. It's suppose to be anti-inflammatory which I need but the ingredients are very similar to the Head to Toe.

Is the OSPW regime working for you? What products are you using?
