A lady called Eric's phone (the one on the lost dog posters) and inquired as to what kind of meds our lost dog was on. So Eric told her that she was on thyroid medicine and a special diet and needed to see a vet. The lady then asked if the medication was a temporary or permanent situation. Strange question from a "concerned citizen"....... Everyone finds this questioning from a general interested person rather strange.

Eric told her that it was permanent. Then he said did you know there was a 500.00 reward and that we aren't asking questions, we just want our dog back. She said she didn't realize there was a reward but that she came to Arvada every night and she would keep looking for her. Those questions are too bizarre from a total stranger without saying they have the dog. I feel she has her or knows who does. Now it's a matter of time before we know if they act as if they found her and claim the reward. Her phone number was on caller ID but it was unpublished. I called a private investigator who is a friend and he found her name and address for me along with her age (24) and her cell phone number. I went to her residence tonight and just parked my car near there and Eric and I took a walk listening. No little dog barking. It's a duplex...near 5th and Wadsworth. Chain link fence allowing visibility. We will go back in daylight. If she works nights, then she may let her out in the daytime. The other thing I did was notify the eight closest vets to her address and put them on alert.
700 flyers in bright neon yellow were put on 700 homes' doors today around my area.
