Hi everyone- Im workign on a new project where we are tryng to find out what factors about your skin bother you the most so we will best know how to rate improvement. It is technically called a "bother scale". Can you please tell me what bothers you the most about oily skin. (This is for the O types). For example- is it that you look shiny in photographs? Is it that your make up streaks? Is it that you look shiney in the mirror? Feel slimey? what? I need to know the NUMBER one thing about oily skin that bothers you. THANKS!!!

That I put on make-up and a few hours later it doesn't look like I've put any on at all. It's like the oil just soaks it right up and I'm not even a super oily - just in the T zone.

My number one complaint with oily skin is the slimy feel.  You nailed it on that description.

I've had oily skin most of my life, even though I'm now getting drier. The two things that bothered me most equally, were the greasy, oily feel on my forehead and nose and the disappearance of my makeup. Second in importance is clogged pores.

For years people have told me that my oil-rich skin will help keep wrinkles at bay and keep me young looking.  Ha!  Little did they know all of the curses that come along with it.  I hate the slimy feel, the clogged pores and all of that nastiness, but my number one complaint is the shiny look.  I'm very oily, mostly in the t-zone, and it gets shiny in less than 30 minutes after I wash my face---I feel like my skin never looks *clean*.  I'm a fanatic about those clean'n'clear blotters...I swear I singlehandedly keep J&J in business!
