I recently finished the book and purchased some new facial products yesterday - and am very happy to see MUCH less shine today!!!

Anyway, I bought the Skin Effects (Dover) Adv. Brightening cream and plan on using it - but I keep reading that you're not supposed to use hydroquinine when using benzoyl peroxide. I'm using Neutrogena's On the Spot (2.5 % BP), but am not sure if I can use it with the Skin Effects. The book doesn't say anything about not using these two at the same time (actually, one of the sections even says to use a lightening lotion before pimple spot treatment). I'm not sure what to do.

--my info: 28 yrs. old ORPW (but my #s for R & W are close to the "middle ground" between types)
