Cetaphil Cleanser... 5 years, 12 months ago #240

I have been using Cetaphil in my pre-Baumann routine and am wondering if I should continue using it. I am an OSNW with a score of 27 on the O/D scale. Since I will be eliminating my usual Proactiv, and the high temperatures have arrived, I am wondering if I should be switching to a cleanser with a little more 'oomph'.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I'm the same skin type with around the same score and I've been using
Aveeno ultra calming foaming cleanser and the Aveeno ultra calming daily moisturizer and it works great, my face does not get oily with or without make-up and it does take out the redness I'm very pleased with these products.

Nickey,

Does the Aveeno cleanser have a strong scent? I bought the Aveeno Ultra Calming Lotion with spf25 and couldn't use it due to the scent. I've tried using it several times, and while it seems like a great lotion, I sneeze all day. I wish more skin care products were fragrance free!

I am in the DSPW zone, but I used to use Cetaphil and thought it was okay as a cleanser but it didn't really help me because I wasn't using all the right items (i.e., I was exfoliating when I shouldn't have been, etc. etc.) I started out on Dr. B's program with the Aveeno Positively Radiant line but the fragrance was nasty and I am not really one bothered by fragrances. So there is a possibility the Aveeno Ultra Calming could be fragranced too...why they would do that in a sensitive skin line is beyond me! That's one thing I like about Olay products ... they do have fragrance free skin care products.
