Hi everyone,

We've had various threads on Vitamin C through out the forum, but its been awhile and I'd love to hear everyone's reviews (both thumbs up and thumbs down) of the vitamin C products they've tried.  I'm still searching for one that doesn't cause irritation.  Please post your scores (in post or signature section of profile), so we can tell what product is working for which skintype.

Following is what I've tried and experienced so far:

Skinceuticals CE Ferulic: The plus side is the texture of my skin feels wonderful the second day and on, but 1) the blackheads resulting from inflammation are very bothersome , 2) I can't use during the day because my pores look huge and 3) my skin feels tacky.

Skinceuticals AOX 15:  thinner consistency, so tackiness wasn't so much of a problem, but it still caused irritation resulting in blackheads and increased pore size.

Eldoquin (medsmex.com version of Epiquin Micro): 4% hydroquinone product containing .15% retinol plus vitamin C & E in a microsponge technology that seems to reduce the irritation. Had to work myself up to this in a three week time period, but now use twice per day on pigmented spots only. Since this is hydroquinone, can't use indefinitely, so need an alternative after 3 months.

Sabina just wrote a review about MD Skincare "Hydra Pure" Vitamin C serum that looks promising.  I wonder if it is the micro-encapsulated form that makes it more tolerable.  Here is a link to her review:
