Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone could give advice about getting rid of lentigos and brown spots. I have a few of the "liver spot" things on my arms and hands (sadly I'm only 24 let's just say Dr. B saved me in time from being the OSPW poster child). I also have sun spots that look like moles and freckles on arms, hands, and face around my hairline and eyebrows (I realized that I used to not apply sunscreen to those areas so now I make a point of applying right there). I've been treating the spots with retinoids every night, retin-a micro .4% on my face and on my arms and hands renova .1%. Then sunscreen during the day. The spots have lightened a little but I'm wondering if they'll ever go away and even if they do would they just come back if those areas ever got more unprotected sun exposure? And do you think I should be doing anything else to get rid of these guys?
For anyone else who doesn't deal with this stuff yet, please believe that the prettiest skin is your own natural color without any sun or wrinkles or discoloration. I keep noticing that the people I think have beautiful skin look like they never lay in the sun.
