Hi all,

I recently started Epiquin Micro (medsmex.com version is called Eldoquin), which has micro technology that slowly releases the medication (4% hydroquinone, .15% retinol) limiting irritation.  I've used 3 days (twice a day) and so far no increased irritation though blackheads have increased slightly.  This is the first time I've been able to use hydroquinone without getting irritation bumps by the 2nd day, so I'm very hopeful this will work.  Will keep you all updated on my progress.

In trying to find more information on rx hydroquinone, I ran across a Sept 2005 article in which various dermatologists discuss hydroquinone studies (ex: Tri-Luma vs Epiquin) and compare rx treatments for tackling hyperpigmentation.  Its quite interesting to see their different points of view and how they would tackle the same patient.  Here's the link for those interested www.skinandaging.com/supplements/pdf/1005SkinMedSupp.pdf

Enjoy,
