Hi. I'm a first-time poster. I read Dr Baumann's book and think it's fantastic. I actually use, sell and love BeautiControl products, but apply the principles that Dr. B. suggests with ingredients, etc. I've become a skincare junkie! haha

I've had this ongoing issue with blackheads/pimples on my right cheek! I went to a dermatologist a year or so back and he did some extractions and gave me some medication that I was allergic to (benzyol peroxide). I then got some weaker cream that didn't really help that much. So it seemed to clear up a bit and through the Beauticontrol regime my skins is much better. However, I recently just got a breakout of pimples in the same area. I had visited a 2nd dermatologist a few months ago who gave me a Retin A RX. I held out on filling it as insurance didn't cover and it's $106. However, today I broke down after reading how much Dr. B. loves the product and thought I'd give it a try, so I now have.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to work the Retin A into my regime. I see here that I shouldn't use my Retinol along with it. I also use some other products like a Cell Block C cream, a Face and Neck Regeneration Cream plus a few others. I don't want to aggravate my skin by using too much product. I actually think the use of a Vit. C serum might have causes the pimples (it's aggressive and I was using every day a.m. an pm).

Also, I'm concerned over having to use Retin A all the time with the high costs. Any Retin A suggestions. I'd love everyone's input! I'm far less concerned with the wrinkling as with the constant breakout in that area (it's a nice side effect, though) Any other good options

Thank you!!!
