I am a 57 year old DSPW with rosacea. My face was bright red and highly reactive until I had 4 ipl's, 6 laser Genesis and 2 titan treatments.
I now use 1% BHA daily to help keep the redness to a minimum.  I have acne scarring and I am still unhappy with lack of skin tone, uneven surface and coloring of skin.  Is Co2 Laser resurfacing okay for people with Rosacea?  I do know somebody who had this done and was still bright red and highly reactive after quite a few months.  Are there any other options for me? Would more ipls' show more improvement or do you only get results from so many and that is it? I have tried tazorac a couple of times, but my face gets very red from it, so I don't think that is for me.  I read about Fraxel, but it sounds painful and expensive. How many treatments of Fraxel does the average person need and is it worth it???  ???
